Naruto Shippuden Ep.476/477: Our Favorite Moments

The last battle is finally here after waiting for it for a very long time, thanks to every anime fans favorite “filler”. I’m joking but seriously today let’s take a look at everything we loved from this epic battle.

  • Sasuke using every move in his arsenal. Universal Pull, Kirin, Fire Jutsu, Charka Absortion, and etc. He was not joking around, seems like he was putting more effort in this battle than he was against Madara & Kaguya. Also they really did a good job showing just how powerful the Susanoo was. When one of the Kuramas punched it in the face and it dinged off, that was a big “oh crap” moment even though most of us had already read the manga.
  • The epic Chidori vs Rasengan scene. We’ve seen this so many but yet it never seems to get old. With the fighting seeming as the two were dancing in a choreographed formation.
  • That transition from Classic to Shippuden during the fighting. It gave it such a nostalgic feel and it also showed us how much these characters have grown.
  • Showing Neji in the very beginning to show this is going to get you inside of your feelings. That these next couple of minutes are going to put you in a emotional roller coaster.
  • This headshot showing Sasuke was ready to kill Naruto, he wasn’t going to hold back no matter what. It was brutal, savage like, and we all loved it! Reminds me of another great kill shot in Neon Genesis Evangelion.
  • All of those hands ‘helping’ Naruto make that last Rasengan, and as soon as you see Jiraya’s hand here comes the tears right away. Also seeing Jiraiya, Minato, Kushina, Ino, Shikamaru and Choji
    Kiba, Hinata and Shino
Ten Ten, Lee, Neji and the charred hand of Guy.
Bee, A, Gaara, Ohnoki, Tsunade and Mei. Iruka, Hiruzen and Konohamaru. It was also cool to see Itachi on the side of Sasuke img_0410
  • The first taijutsu sequence with no music. Only sounds from the young ninjas battling it out gave such an real feel to the whole sequence, I felt as I was exactly there watching the whole time. Also the section after Sasuke reels himself with the string – Naruto kept trying to complete the shadow clone jutsu hand sign but Sasuke wouldn’t give him a slight chance to get the upper hand.
  • You had to of loved the fist between Naruto and the Nine tails. The Kurama scenes were so great, they really were true partners and Kurama gave Naruto everything he had. The flashback to the scene where Naruto said he’d do something about Kurama’s hatred made it so good and after all they have been through now they have transformed from enemies to best friends or even in the sense the same being.
  • Sauske using Naruto to help complete his hand signs was such a great move. Forcing him into a corner he couldn’t escape. Also making sure that Naruto wouldn’t get a chance to use his shadow clones. img_0411
  • Both of them using Itachi as influence but having two separate stances. This basically shows the complex nature of Itachi and how his teachings can be interpreted so many different ways.
  • Naruto’s talk no jutsu realm! There’s no explanation needed for this one but you know what I mean.
  • The “hit, miss and fall into the water out of exhaustion over and over” moment was of pure.cinematic.genius.
If you had that one scene in a Hollywood film for the larger audience that comes with it, that hypothetical movie would be nominated for a Cinematography Oscar.
That scene should be shown in film schools.

Thoughts? What was your guys favorite part? Let’s talk in the comment section below.
