Masamune-kun no Revenge is an anime belonging to the 2017 winter season of anime. It’s first episode has just aired and is ahead with their broadcasting progress as not many other anime have started yet. This article will give my first impressions about episode 1 of this anime.

Masamune-kun no Revenge tells the story of a hot guy named Masamune Makabe. When he was younger, he was bullied for his fat appearance and one day, he was saved by a girl called Aki Adagaki. Makabe fell in love with her and confessed but was harshly rejected. Since then, Makabe has had the motto, ‘if you’re not hot, you can’t do anything’. He worked out to get a good body, got perfect grades and attracted tons of girls. When he transferred to a new high school, he witnesses a cruel rejection from the ‘Cruel Princess’. He then realises she is the one he’s always wanted revenge on.
